58%
higher

rates of exclusive breastfeeding

Breastfeeding counselling and education interventions were associated with higher exclusive breastfeeding rates compared with usual care.

Breastfeeding may be natural, but having the right information and support can make a real difference.

YOU DECIDED TO BREASTFEED...

But somewhere along the way, you started questioning whether your body can.

You wanted to breastfeed.

Then your baby wants to feed again 30 minutes later. They're unsettled after a feed. Someone asks, “Are you sure they're getting enough?”

Then comes the suggestion:

“Maybe you should top them up with formula.”

And suddenly a very normal question.. "Is this normal? "..can turn into:

Is my baby getting enough?
Is my milk supply dropping?
Am I doing something wrong?
Maybe my body just can't make enough milk.

47%

reported breastfeeding challenges as a reason for stopping.

40%

reported low milk supply as a reason for stopping.

But worrying about your milk supply doesn't always mean your milk supply is actually low.

In a WA study of mothers experiencing breastfeeding problems, 44% believed they had insufficient milk by three weeks postpartum. One of the biggest reasons? Their baby didn't seem satisfied after breastfeeding.

Frequent feeding. Cluster feeding. Fussiness. Changes in how full your breasts feel.

These can make you question your supply, but they don't automatically mean your baby isn't getting enough.

Sometimes there is a feeding or supply problem that needs attention.

You deserve to know the difference.

Breastfeeding is a personal decision. And if it's important to you, that decision deserves support.

Not pressure to breastfeed at all costs. And not ten different opinions leaving you more confused than when you started.

You deserve evidence-based support that helps you understand what's happening, what your baby needs and what your options are , so you can make decisions you feel confident about.

91% of Australian babies receive breastmilk at least once. Yet only 38% are exclusively breastfed for at least six months.

There are many reasons women stop breastfeeding. But breastfeeding difficulties and concerns about milk supply are among the reasons Australian women report stopping.

Breastfeeding is natural. Learning how to breastfeed still matters.

Because you shouldn't have to give up on breastfeeding simply because you didn't have the right information or support when you needed it.

You're not meant to figure this out alone.

Whether you're preparing before birth or already breastfeeding, you're probably wondering if what you're’re experiencing is normal—and what to do next.

If you're nodding along to any of these...

  • Worried about your milk supply
  • Experiencing painful feeds
  • Struggling with latch
  • Preparing for breastfeeding before birth
  • Unsure whether you need formula
  • Navigating reflux, allergies or unsettled feeding
  • Pumping or returning to work
  • Overwhelmed by conflicting advice

The good news? Many breastfeeding challenges can be improved with the right support. Together we'll identify what's affecting feeding, create a personalised plan and help you protect your milk supply with confidence.

PREGNANT AND READING THIS THINKING,
“HOW DO I AVOID ALL OF THAT?”

You're in the right place too.

If breastfeeding is important to you, you don't have to wait until your baby arrives, or until something goes wrong, to learn how it works.

Preparing before birth can help you understand:

✓ what to expect in those first days
✓ how milk production works
✓ what normal newborn feeding can look like
✓ how to protect your milk supply
✓ when to get help

You can begin Let's Get Latched during pregnancy, so you're prepared before those first feeds, with ongoing support there when your baby arrives.

NOT BREASTFEEDING YET?

That's okay too.

If you're still pregnant, you're probably
hoping breastfeeding goes well—but
wondering how to prepare for something
you've never done before.

That's why many mothers choose to join
before birth, so they feel confident, prepared
and supported from day one.

What other mums said after joining during pregnancy....

"I joined this course with a LOT of questions and I feel far more educated and supported. Having this knowledge before my baby is due is so reassuring and gives me confidence that breastfeeding can be a successful journey." Polly

differently.

WHY LEARN FROM ME?

Hi, I'm Kristy!
I look beyond the latch...

I support the whole picture.

Because breastfeeding challenges rarely have just one cause.

I don't just focus on breastfeeding. I support the whole mother-and-baby journey that makes breastfeeding possible.

That's why I don't just assess your baby's latch. Together we'll look at everything that could be influencing feeding, from your recovery and nutrition to your baby's feeding behaviours. So we can find the real cause, not just treat the symptom.

  • Protecting your milk supply
  • Supporting your recovery after birth
  • Optimising your nutrition and energy levels
  • Understanding your baby's feeding behaviours and needs
  • Helping you reach your breastfeeding goals with confidence
And I understand this from both sides.
I've supported families professionally — but I've also been the mum worrying about milk supply and wondering whether my baby was getting enough.

It's why I created the kind of breastfeeding support I wish I'd had.

MY STORY

Why I Created Let's Get Latched

I spent years educating families about breastfeeding in humanitarian settings across the globe. Then I became a mother — and suddenly, everything looked different.

My own journey was harder than I expected. A jaundiced baby, delayed milk, supply concerns. Like many mothers, I started formula top-ups without realising every one made it harder to build the supply I was desperately trying to protect.

That experience taught me something important:

Breastfeeding may be natural, but it doesn't
always come naturally.

Mothers need more than information. They need practical support, personalised guidance and someone in their corner. That's why I created Let's Get Latched.

Support Beyond The Appointment

"Kristy spent a lot of time with us, took a detailed history, created a plan to follow and offered extra support via email. Definitely worth booking an appointment for extra support to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle."

— Mother of Newborn with Feeding Challenges

🛡️ 24-HOUR FIRST SESSION GUARANTEE

I want you to feel confident you've made the right choice.
I know investing in breastfeeding support can feel like a big decision.

If, after our first private coaching session, you decide Let’s Get Latched isn’t the right fit for you, simply let me know within 24 hours of that session and I’ll refund your program fee in full.

No awkward conversation. No pressure to continue.

I’d much rather help you make the right decision than pressure you into the wrong one.

My goal is simple: personalised, evidence-based support that helps you feel informed, supported and confident throughout your breastfeeding journey.

Still not sure if this is right for you?

I'm more worried about childbirth, why should I worry about breastfeeding?

From experience, I know most mums are more worried about the pain and process of giving birth rather than preparing for what comes after.

My program is about supporting you through the breastfeeding, baby sleep, pelvic floor and many other issues that will inevitably come. Most mum's say they wish they had this service in pregnancy or known what to do once they got baby home ...but by the time they think about it and can act on it, they've already gone through the haze of the first 3 months in complete exhaustion and overwhelm.

It’s hard to find comprehensive, real and supportive information to prepare you for life after baby, from accredited health professionals, while supporting you with intensive 1:1 coaching through the haze of the first few weeks postpartum, and that’s our focus with the Let's Get Latched program.

I've just completed the Getting Ready for Breastfeeding course, why do I need the Let's Get Latched program?

We've deep dived into many issues around breastfeeding over the 4 week Getting Ready for Breastfeeding course. I'm sure you'll agree, that it's opened your eyes up to the complexity of breastfeeding and what many underestimate as a natural process, yet is a learned art.

With the Let's Get Latched program, we move you from theory and the WHAT, to the practical elements of breastfeeding and the HOW. You'll be provided with intensive 1:1 support, not only in the weeks leading up to birth, but through daily support after birth as you transition from colostrum to establishing your breastmilk supply, ensuring any issues like engorgement, low milk supply, mastitis etc are prevented and or overcome quickly so that you are not in pain and suffering through your breastfeeding journey.

With the added BONUS of the Postnatal Roadmap membership, you'll be supported holistically as breastfeeding is just ONE part of your postpartum journey. Receiving weekly toolkits at just the right moment of your baby's milestones, as well as weekly menu plans, to help you feel alive and prepared for the stormy days that come. This should be a joyous period as you bond with your baby, not one of pain, overwhelm or complete exhaustion. So let me be by your side as you put the theory in to practice.

Why do I need 1:1 coaching support - breastfeeding is natural?

While you can certainly try to do it yourself, breastfeeding is an art. It is like learning a new dance while working with a new dance partner who has no clue how to dance. Working with a coach can help you achieve your goals faster, avoid painful and costly mistakes, and increase your confidence and motivation as a new mum. By investing in yourself and your baby's future health, as early as the third trimester, you will increase your chances of successfully breastfeeding and see a higher return on investment in the long run - in optimal health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases for your child and yourself. I put it to you...what will it cost you if you decide against joining Let's Get Latched?

Psst - did you know you can get the MINI version of Let's Get Latched with a Postnatal Roadmap Membership (Tier 2) ?
